EXAMPLE

This is an example of a pan shot which I took while on spring break last year.  I noticed after viewing the film that is is pretty difficult to keep the camera level and stable when making one of these types of shots without a tripod.  The pan shot in this video is followed by a dolly shot.  Again, the dolly shot is a bit unstable without using an actual dolly.  If you plan to make a dolly shot you might want to use a stabilizer of possibly a rolling chair.

    1. The Extreme Close Up Shot gave us a very close up view of the character's eyes only allowing us to focus on that.

The close shot was close up but not too close to the character it only showed us him from the waist and up.

The eye level shot was very adorable and was shot from his height to be able for the audience to see from his level.

      The long shot showed their whole body in the frame which seemed to be a bit difficult since woody is extremely tall but it managed to still look good (;

The head on shot shows what the characters are doing and what they are trying to portray to the audience.

The dolly shot showed a bit like a point of view showing us of someone just taking a stroll down the street.

The close up shot made us focus on what the subject is doing specifically with their hands.

The follow shot gave more of an upbeat feeling especially with the greenery in the background. It showed us as if he has an important location to arrive at.

The flash shot caused me to be unexpected and surprised.

    1. The tilt shot made me feel as though anticipated as if something was going to pop up or reveal themselves once we got to the top.

The Establishing Shot in woody's blog really stood out to me because I was able to know about the location and setting of the area. This setting brought a lot of peace and tranquility by the quietness and slow ripples of the lake in the background.

The Dolly Shot seemed more of a point of view shot. It seemed as if I were watching walking through their eyes.

The Choker shot brought more attention to the character forcing us to look more at him and less of the surroundings.

The Full Shot allowed us to view the character from top to bottom and seeing all of their features. Whether that's clothing items or accessories on them.

The Pan Shot gave me a different angle to view the setting and surroundings with. It gave me a full wide length of the background and what's in it.

The Cameo Shot made the character (josh) stick out more in the bland background. His jacket contrasted with the background making it have a bit more color instead of being just a dull neutral color.

The Point of View Shot allowed us to be in "his eyes" and see what's going on and what he is doing.

The Follow Shot made me feel a sense of "alarm" as if something bad were to happen to josh.

The Eye Level Shot only allowed us to see from the collarbone and up which doesn't allow the audience to see what's happening below.

The High Angle Shot gave us a different view which was from above, this caused us to see everything that is happening below and the little details.

The Close Up Shot gave us a focused view of the flowers in alyssa's hands and the little details between her and the flower.
