Next Wednesday is your EXAM!!!
This week you should spend time preparing yourself for the exam on Wednesday, May 18th. Below I have listed 3 things which will help you make sure you are prepared.
1) If you have not yet done so, you must make sure you have thoroughly read the two articles that were listed for you to summarize over the past 2 weeks. "Media Convergence 101" and "Audiences & Institutions".
2) You should also spend time memorizing the terms and definitions from your graphic organizer which you posted to your blog last semester. You will need this information while doing the film viewing portion of the exam. Here is one example graphic organizer which was very informative.
3) You should review the most recently released candidate responses. These samples are scored High/Medium/Low. Spend time reading through all 6 sample papers (3 responses to Section A, 3 responses to Section B). As you are reading the samples, be sure to consider the examiners notes about what is good and what is not. The questions from the exam booklet which produced these responses are copied below. Note the 2 questions at the bottom from Section B. They are directly related to the 2 articles.
